By chance roasted a lamb shoulder at too excessive a temperature? : AskCulinary

Hi guys, i’m cooking a lamb shoulder and following this recipe:

Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder

The recipe asks to preheat the oven to 240 and then turn down immediately to 180. I forgot to drop the temperature down and have had it roasting at 240 for 20 minutes. I’ve immediately dropped it to 180.

…did i screw up the roast?
