Combine rice varieties in Paella? : AskCulinary


I’m planning on making a seafood paella for friends (shrimp, mussels, and cod), and I only have just over a cup of Bomba rice, which won’t be enough. I have some Arborio and a big bag of Kokuho gold medium grain (good for sushi).

Can I combine the Bomba with the Arborio and/or the Kokuho for my paella?

If so, what would be the best combination?

Alternatively is it best to just use the Kokuho because I have a lot?
