I have seen for example: Fryclone Fryer Oil Stabilizer and Filter Powder
I just recently purchased an outdoor 9-gallon fryer. I saw this chemical while looking for oils to fill the unit. I live in a high temperature and humidity climate (SW Florida) so I wasn’t sure if something like this was necessary. The next question is: is it safe? It seems odd to put a cleaner in your oil then you rely on to cook.
Just curious if anyone has any opinions on their safety and practicality.
