Methods to infuse spiciness into Sizzling Wisconsin Cheese Nuggets? : AskCulinary


I heard in the news the state fair might be in problem with corona and it reminded me of my favorite fair food: Hot Wisconsin Cheese Nuggets. I specifically love their spicy nuggets. These are essentially lightly breaded cheese sticks.

I did some searching and found some recipes on how to make the plain version, but had trouble finding one for the spicy version.

The spicy ones are exactly the same as the plain ones but spicy. There no cut up pieces of chili peppers or visible chili powder. How diff they do this?

I think it was the cheese that was spicy and not the breading, but it’s been a while so I’m not entirely sure.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
