Oil streaks on seasoned wok : AskCulinary


Hi everyone. I have newly seasoned a carbon steel wok but it resulted in many oil marks, pictured here https://imgur.com/zmfas9b . Looking at previous posts, it seems I put on too much oil prior to seasoning and didn’t wipe the excess. My question is, should I strip the wok with barkeepers friend and re-season, or should I just keep cooking with it normally?
