I was considering doing a lasagne dish with tomato sauce, cheese and mince, but layering starchy potatoes in lieu of pasta. I want it to set though otherwise it’s just going to be a casserole.
I know high starch potatos like to absorb moisture but I don’t know to what ratio to expect vs pasta. I know the potatos will be pretty soft when done which is fine.
Bonus if I can fit other vegetables in there.
What do you think? Is there already a dish like this which I don’t know the name of?
