I was just reading the link on peeling carrots and someone said to keep the skin of squash on and make chips. I did know the seeds are delicious roasted – but never even considered the skin!
It started me wondering what other parts of things I’ve been discarding that maybe I should keep!
One I do is keep the skin of my peeled tomatoes. I dry it up and then grind it to add to my seasonings and rubs as a savory addictive!
So what else ya got?
